Summary
Job Title: Workday HCM / Compensation Lead
Location : Remote
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the Tier 2 functional lead for Workday HCM and Compensation, providing expert-level support for configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization across modules.Act as the primary escalation point for ServiceNow tickets, managing intake, analysis, resolution, documentation, and timely communication of Workday-related requests and defects.Partner closely with HR, Payroll, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into effective Workday solutions, and ensure accurate configuration and testing.Provide clear, professional, and customer-focused communication to a diverse employee population, offering guidance, explanations, and resolution updates in an approachable manner.Support system enhancements, audits, and Workday releases, including regression testing, validation, documentation, and knowledge transfer to ensure system stability and compliance.Identify opportunities for process improvements and system efficiencies, recommending best practices aligned with Workday functionality and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications5+ years of hands-on Workday experience, with strong depth in Compensation and Core HCM configuration.
Proven experience supporting Workday in a Tier 2 or lead functional role, including issue resolution and stakeholder support.Experience managing and resolving tickets through ServiceNow or a similar ITSM tool.Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective system solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to support and explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Preferred QualificationsHealthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
Workday certifications in HCM or Compensation are a plus.Experience supporting audits, compliance requirements, and large-scale Workday releases.
