Role SecOps Solutions Architect A Solutions Architect is responsible for hands-on technical pre- and post-sale enablement, working actively with account managers to drive business within AE's Solutions Practice at new and existing enterprise clients. You aim to build strategy and vision while becoming a trusted advisor, partner, and point of accountability with client stakeholders.
Responsibilities - Architect solutions to solve customer business needs.
- Provide engineering expertise in the pre and post-sale stages.
- Build in-depth knowledge of clients' technical priorities, challenges and initiatives and map those needs to AE's core offerings and competencies.
- Responsible for architecting and proposing (i.e. presenting) technology solutions, along with implementation of services, that meets customers' business and technical needs.
- Comfortable and successful engaging diverse stakeholders across all organizational levels, demonstrating adaptability in everything from formal presentations to informal collaborative settings.
- Assist account managers with solution validation, proposal generation, quoting and developing account strategies.
- Educate customer's Technical and Business leaders on proposed solutions.
- Build value-added relationships within the domain of new or existing accounts to become the trusted technical advisor.
- Identifying new opportunities across lines of business and engaging sales team on the opportunity.
- Oversee the installation and implementation of assigned products including coordination of vendor participation.
- Responsible to ensure that proposed solutions, when implemented, meet the needs and functional requirements of the customer.
Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, related field or equivalent experience
- Five or more years in solution architecture or engineering
- Deeply knowledgeable and experienced with at least one enterprise SIEM (Splunk ES, R7 Insight, MS Sentinel, S1 Singularity, CS NG-SIEM, PAN XSIAM, et al.)
- Additional practical experience in three (3) or more of the following security areas (take your pick):
- Enterprise NGAV/EDR (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Palo Alto Networks, Microsoft Defender et. al)
- Email Security (Proofpoint, Mimecast, Abnormal, EOP, MDO365, et al.)
- Identity Security (IAM/IGA, PAM, Machine Identity, CyberArk, et al.)
- Vulnerability / Attack Surface / Threat Management
- Cloud Security & CNAPP (Cortex/Prisma Cloud, Wiz, Orca Security, S1 Singularity Cloud et. al)
- Governance, Risk & Compliance (Program Development, Risk Management, Risk Register, NIST, ISO, CIS)
- SOAR (PAN XSOAR, Swimlane, Tines, et al.)
- Application Security & ASPM (SDLC, SAST, DAST, SCA, Veracode, Checkmarx, etc.)
- OT Security (ICS-Specific Asset & Vulnerability Management, Purdue, IEC-62443, Dragos, Claroty, et al.)
- Practical hands-on experience automating security outcomes and competence with at least one language appropriate for automation (Python, PowerShell, Golang, et al.)
- Enjoy rapidly gaining context and knowledge in new technology areas with minimal supervision. You likely have a personal lab within a cloud service provider, basement, or bunker.
- Comfortable with travel throughout the state and enjoy occasional national travel to events and conferences with a team.
- Equally capable and engaged whether working remotely or on-site at client.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels
