Pay Range: $19 - $20/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- The contractor will primarily work on:
- Processing USF (Universal Service Fund) applications
- Processing LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) applications
- Assisting customers with completing applications
- Conducting outreach activities
- Administrative support
- Maintaining records and documentation
- Communicating with customers regarding eligibility and required documents
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- USF/LIHEAP experience
- Previous experience working with government or utility assistance programs is highly preferred
- Comfortable interacting with customers, community organizations, and assisting the public.
- Data entry
- Document management
- Filing
- Scheduling
- General office support
- Experience with USF/LIHEAP
- Strong empathy and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal vehicle (travel may be required)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Bilingual would be nice.
