Network Engineer IV

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Arlington, VA that is seeking a Network Engineer IV.

Summary:
Our client is looking for best-in-class Network Engineers to help deploy and automate one of the world's largest and complex networks. Our goal is to become -The Infrastructure Platform- to the world. Our customers demand the highest quality and reliability for their services. We are expanding at a tremendous rate it is our responsibility to maintain quality and reliability while developing innovative ways to automate the scaling of our network.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in related field or relevant networking certificates
* 7+ years of industry experience
* Highly autonomous
* Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong project management and time management skills
* Successful track record of designing simple, scalable solutions and troubleshooting complex network problems and delivering innovative solutions
* Desire and ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment is essential
* Excellent IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols
* In-depth knowledge of and experience with major internet routing protocols; specifically BGP and OSPF
* In-depth knowledge of and experience with major router platforms; specifically with Cisco 37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, 76xx platforms including all compatible supervisory and line cards for these platforms
* Excellent network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills
* Significant past experience with, and expertise in many of the following protocols & technologies: DWDM, T1/DS1, DS3, SONET (OC3, OC48), 802.2/3, 802.1d VLANs/STP, IPv4 & IPv6, TCP (internals & flow control), BGP, OSPF, HSRP/GLBP, PIMv2, IGMP, LDP, TACACS, IPSEC & VPNs, netflow, DNS, HTTP

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
