Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong skills in requirements gathering, report development, data analysis, Snowflake, and Power BI. The candidate will work with business teams to understand their needs, analyze data, create reports, test solutions, and publish data on public websites.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and document business requirements for IT projects.
Work with business teams to understand their needs and develop technical solutions.
Analyze business processes and recommend improvements.
Identify data errors and perform root cause analysis.
Create and maintain reports using Power BI and Snowflake.
Map and document data flows for reports and data extracts.
Prepare and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Support user training and project implementation.
Publish data on the Texas DIR Open Data Portal or Railroad Commission of Texas website.
Support users with research and special projects.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in requirements gathering and report creation.
8+ years of experience in business analysis and designing technical solutions.
5+ years of experience in UAT, user training, and project implementation.
2+ years of experience with Snowflake.
2+ years of experience with Power BI.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
