Position Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior SAP DevOps and Platform Engineering Lead with strong hands-on expertise in SAP BTP, SAP Incentive Management, Territory and Quota Management, SAP HANA, and CI/CD automation. The ideal candidate will lead SAP deployment engineering, platform troubleshooting, and release management while remaining actively involved in technical implementation. This role requires expertise in automating deployments, resolving complex integration issues, and ensuring reliable SAP platform operations across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities

Build, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for SAP application deployment and release automation.

Automate deployments across multiple SAP environments.

Lead technical implementation and deployment activities for SAP BTP, Incentive Management, and Territory and Quota solutions.

Troubleshoot BTP deployment failures, pipeline issues, and integration problems.

Diagnose SAP HANA database, SQL, and application performance issues.
-
Resolve end-to-end technical issues involving SAP SaaS, BTP services, integrations, and databases.
-
Develop rollback, recovery, monitoring, and production-support procedures.
-
Monitor deployment processes and ensure application stability and operational readiness.

Guide engineering teams through complex technical challenges.

Support production incidents, root-cause analysis, and release management activities.
Required Qualifications
-
10+ years of experience in SAP technical engineering, platform operations, or DevOps.

Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP and SAP HANA.

Experience with SAP Incentive Management and Territory and Quota Management.

Proven ability to independently build and implement CI/CD pipelines.

Experience automating SAP deployments across multiple environments.

Strong troubleshooting skills involving BTP services, integrations, and deployment pipelines.

Experience diagnosing database, SQL, and performance-related issues.

Proficiency in Python, Shell, or Bash scripting.

Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and SQL.

Experience troubleshooting Java-based applications.

Ability to lead technical implementation and provide hands-on engineering support.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Cassandra.

Knowledge of Apache Tomcat Server.

Familiarity with Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, or Datadog.

Understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes.
