Job Title: Certinia Functional Lead (Salesforce CRM)


Location: Remote (30% Travel Required)
Job Type: Contract 
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM


Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Certinia Functional Lead to drive business process transformation and implementation initiatives within a Salesforce CRM environment.

This role is responsible for designing target-state processes, gathering and defining business requirements, and delivering scalable solutions tailored for professional services organizations. The ideal candidate will provide functional leadership, align business architecture with system capabilities, and lead end-to-end implementation efforts.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business requirements gathering and translate them into functional specifications
  • Design and implement target-state business processes aligned with industry best practices
  • Drive end-to-end Certinia (FinancialForce) implementation projects, including planning, configuration, and deployment
  • Develop and document business architecture and solution designs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and system capabilities
  • Provide functional leadership across Salesforce CRM and Certinia platforms
  • Guide teams on best practices for professional services operations
  • Support project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership

Required Qualifications

  • 6–9 years of experience in business process analysis and functional consulting
  • Certinia (FinancialForce) certification is mandatory
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and solution design
  • Hands-on experience implementing Certinia in professional services organizations
  • Experience working with mid-to-large scale enterprises ($700M+ revenue environments)
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM platform
  • Understanding of Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA) concepts
  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end implementation and transformation initiatives
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in large-scale digital transformation programs
  • Exposure to complex enterprise system integrations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Work Environment & Additional Information

  • Fully remote role with approximately 30% travel required
  • Collaborative, client-facing environment
