RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Chandler, AZ that is seeking an Aerospace Systems Engineer - Post-Sales. This position is 100% onsite. The client offers a competitive base salary, profit sharing, 401(k) match, unlimited PTO, and more.

About the Role:
Join an established and growing Defense Aerospace company as a Senior Systems Engineer with strong post-sales and customer-facing experience. This role is ideal for a technical leader who thrives in hands-on engineering environments and enjoys collaborating with customers to deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead technical design, implementation, and delivery of complex projects and solutions
* Drive post-sales activities, including product installation, configuration, and technical briefings for customers
* Analyze customer specifications and develop cost, resource, and timeline estimates for custom solutions
* Oversee engineering operations, including research and development to enhance products and services
* Ensure compliance with quality, cost, safety, and performance standards throughout production processes
* Interpret technical plans, drawings, and specifications, conduct testing and validation of systems and materials
* Develop innovative technical solutions through collaboration and deep system analysis
* Mentor and review work of junior engineers as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
* BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
* Technical Expertise: Integrated Avionics, Payload, Motor Controls, Solid-State Recorders
* Proven experience in post-sales product configuration and custom solution design
* Strong troubleshooting skills for complex systems and ability to oversee repair work
* Skilled in conducting technical training and product briefings for customers

Preferred:
* Experience with Integrated Avionics systems
* Background in Business Development and bid/cost estimation
* Electrical engineering focus
* Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to address complex, undefined challenges
* Familiarity with selling technical products and leading post-sale installations is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
