Role Summary:

The PMO & Release Management Lead will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and governing ERP release cycles, deployment strategies, and cutover execution across enterprise environments. This role ensures structured delivery alignment between business stakeholders, technical teams, infrastructure, and vendors to enable smooth and low-risk ERP deployments.

The position plays a critical role in orchestrating release readiness, environment alignment, risk mitigation, and business continuity during ERP implementation and upgrade programs.

Key Responsibilities

PMO Governance & Delivery Oversight

•                     Establish and manage release governance frameworks aligned with ERP program milestones

•                     Coordinate across functional, technical, infrastructure, security, and business teams

•                     Track program deliverables, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans

•                     Maintain RAID logs and ensure proactive escalation management

•                     Support steering committee reporting and executive-level status updates

•                     Ensure alignment with enterprise PMO standards and delivery methodologies

Release Planning & Coordination

•                     Define and manage end-to-end ERP release calendars

•                     Coordinate multi-stream release schedules across development, testing, and production environments

•                     Manage release scope validation and readiness checkpoints

•                     Facilitate cross-team release planning workshops

•                     Ensure release documentation completeness and sign-offs

•                     Develop deployment strategies for large-scale ERP rollouts (global, phased, or regional)

•                     Coordinate environment readiness across DEV, QA, UAT, and Production

•                     Support infrastructure, security, and application readiness validation

•                     Manage release packaging and deployment sequencing

•                     Ensure rollback planning and fallback procedures are documented and validated

•                     Develop deployment strategies for large-scale ERP rollouts (global, phased, or regional)

•                     Coordinate environment readiness across DEV, QA, UAT, and Production

•                     Support infrastructure, security, and application readiness validation

•                     Manage release packaging and deployment sequencing

•                     Develop detailed ERP cutover plans including task sequencing and ownership

•                     Coordinate mock cutovers and rehearsal cycles

•                     Manage business downtime planning and communication

•                     Ensure hypercare transition readiness post go-live

•                     Develop detailed ERP cutover plans including task sequencing and ownership

•                     Coordinate mock cutovers and rehearsal cycles

•                     Lead war-room execution during go-live events

•                     Track real-time execution progress during deployment windows

Risk & Dependency Management

•                     Identify deployment risks and operational constraints early

•                     Coordinate mitigation strategies across stakeholder groups

•                     Manage integration dependencies across upstream/downstream systems

•                     Ensure business continuity and minimal operational disruption

Stakeholder Engagement

•                     Partner with business owners, ERP functional leads, infrastructure teams, and vendors

•                     Coordinate communication between delivery towers and leadership stakeholders

•                     Support executive readiness updates prior to go-live decisions

•                     Facilitate Go/No-Go readiness checkpoints

•                     Partner with business owners, ERP functional leads, infrastructure teams, and vendors

Tools & Reporting

•                     Maintain release dashboards

Qualifications (Preferred)

•                     Proven experience leading PMO governance, release management, and cutover planning for ERP programs

•                     Strong program planning, RAID management, and executive stakeholder reporting skills

•                     Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across application, infrastructure, and security domains

•                     Familiarity with deployment methodologies, go-live readiness, and hypercare transition

•                     Proficiency with common PMO and release reporting tools (e.g., project plans, dashboards, RAID logs)
