Siemens Opcenter (Camstar) Techno-Functional Architect

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Siemens Opcenter (Camstar) Techno-Functional Architect to lead the architecture, design, implementation, and delivery of MES/MOM solutions for a global Medical Device/Pharma manufacturing program. The Architect will define solution architecture, lead technical teams, drive integrations, and ensure alignment with business, manufacturing, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end Opcenter (Camstar) solution architecture and technical design.
Lead requirements workshops, solution design, and feasibility assessments.
Architect and implement MES/MOM solutions using Opcenter Execution (Camstar).
Define integration architecture between MES, ERP (SAP/Oracle), PLC/SCADA, equipment, and enterprise systems using CIO/MIO frameworks.
Provide technical leadership for Camstar Designer, Portal Studio, Management Studio, and deployment activities.
Lead global development teams, conduct design/code reviews, and mentor team members.
Drive installation, upgrades, environment management, DevOps, and release processes.
Ensure compliance with ISA-95, MESA, and regulated manufacturing standards.
Collaborate with business, quality, manufacturing, IT, and vendor teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills

8+ years of hands-on Siemens Opcenter (Camstar) experience.
Strong expertise in Camstar Designer, Portal Studio, Management Studio, CIO/MIO.
Experience with end-to-end MES implementations for global manufacturing programs.
Knowledge of .NET, C#, HTML5, JavaScript, XML, SQL Server/Oracle.
Experience integrating MES with ERP, PLC/SCADA, OPC, and shop-floor equipment.
Strong understanding of Medical Device or Pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with ISA-95, MESA, GMP/GxP, and CFR Part 11.
Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

SAP S/4HANA integration experience.
Power BI and manufacturing reporting.
Knowledge of Industry 4.0, IoT, and Smart Factory initiatives.
Experience with validation documentation (IQ/OQ/PQ).

Experience

12+ years overall IT/MES experience.
8+ years in Siemens Opcenter (Camstar).
3+ years in Architect or Technical Lead roles.
Proven experience delivering multi-site global MES programs.
