Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Application Developer with strong expertise in z/OS Mainframe technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining, and supporting mainframe applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills:
• Strong experience in Mainframe COBOL Development
• Hands-on experience with JCL (Job Control Language)
• Expertise in VSAM file processing
• Strong knowledge of DB2 database development and support
• Experience working in z/OS Mainframe environments

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with CICS application development and support
• Knowledge of mainframe application modernization initiatives
• Experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of mainframe applications

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and maintain Mainframe applications on z/OS platforms.
• Develop and support COBOL programs utilizing JCL, VSAM, and DB2 technologies.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform application enhancements, bug fixes, and production support activities.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure quality deliverables.
• Support batch processing, job scheduling, and database-related activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.

Required Technical Skills:
Primary:
• Mainframe COBOL
• JCL
• VSAM
• DB2

Secondary:
• CICS

Preferred Experience:
• 5+ years of Mainframe Application Development experience
• Experience working in enterprise-scale production environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
