Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce UIUX Developer to design and develop intuitive, accessible, and high-performing user experiences on the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will combine strong front-end development expertise with UX design principles to create user-centric solutions that improve adoption, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
The role requires hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning technologies, UI frameworks, responsive design, usability best practices, and collaboration with business, product, and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
UIUX Design & User Experience
Gather and analyze business and user requirements to create intuitive user experiences.
Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows using Figma or similar design tools.
Conduct usability assessments and recommend UX improvements.
Ensure consistent design standards, branding, and user experience across Salesforce applications.
Implement accessibility standards including WCAG compliance.
Salesforce Front-End Development
Design, develop, and deploy custom user interfaces using:
Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Aura Components
Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS)
Build responsive and reusable UI components.
Configure Lightning App Builder pages, Record Pages, and Experience Cloud sites.
Develop interactive dashboards and user experiences that enhance productivity.
Optimize application performance and responsiveness across browsers and devices.
Integration & Collaboration
Collaborate with Salesforce Developers, Architects, Product Owners, and Business Analysts.
Integrate UI solutions with Apex, Salesforce APIs, and enterprise systems.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Support SIT, UAT, and production deployments by resolving UIUX defects.
Technical Leadership
Establish UI development standards and reusable component libraries.
Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Recommend best practices in Salesforce UX design, usability, accessibility, and front-end development.
Stay current with Salesforce releases and emerging UX technologies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Design, or related discipline.
5+ years of UIUX or front-end development experience.
3+ years of Salesforce Lightning development experience.
Strong experience with:
Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Aura Framework
SLDS
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience working with Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Health Cloud.
Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards.
Experience integrating Salesforce UI with Apex, SOQL, and REST APIs.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in AgileScrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Platform Developer I or II Certification.
Salesforce UX Designer Certification.
Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud.
Hands-on expertise with Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
Experience in Healthcare, Payer, Provider, Life Sciences, or Insurance domains.
Knowledge of CICD pipelines, Git, and modern front-end development practices.
