Enterprise IT Operations Manager - Onsite project @ Jersey City, NJ

Introduction:

The Enterprise IT Operations Manager will be responsible for managing critical IT service towers, gathering information, and developing a detailed Request for Proposal (RFP) for acquiring a managed services provider for enterprise IT operations. This role will be based in Jersey City, NJ and will report to the Assistant Director in the Technology Department.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Enterprise IT Operations Manager include:

• Developing a comprehensive RFP document including IT service tower specifications, SLA framework, resource requirements, ServiceNow integration requirements, vendor qualification criteria, and pricing structure.
• Conducting stakeholder interviews, facilitating requirements gathering workshops, and managing the RFP process.
• Supporting vendor evaluation activities, developing an evaluation matrix, facilitating vendor presentations, and assisting in negotiation strategy development.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience
• Demonstrated experience writing RFPs for IT managed services
• Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and IT service management
• Experience with ServiceNow platform and managed services integrations
• PMP or equivalent project management certification
• Compliance with relevant industry standards (HIPAA, PCI-DSS if applicable)

Highly Desirable Skills:

• ServiceNow certification (CSA, CIS, or similar)
• ITIL Certification
• ISO 27001 or SOC 2 Type II certification
• Experience with enterprise-scale IT outsourcing transitions
• Knowledge of vendor management and contract negotiation
• Background in IT operations or infrastructure management
• Experience with change management and stakeholder engagement
