Data Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a hybrid Data Engineer to join their team in Atlanta, GA. This role is focused on transforming and modeling SAP supply chain and inventory data within Snowflake to support enterprise analytics and business decision-making. The successful candidate will bring strong functional knowledge of SAP data structures and the ability to translate complex technical tables into business-ready data models. The Data Engineer is not responsible for data ingestion, SAP configuration, or migration efforts, as those functions are managed by a separate team. This role is exclusively focused on data transformation, modeling, and enablement for business consumption.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Demonstrated hands-on experience working with SAP supply chain and inventory data
* Ability to navigate SAP tables and understand functional relationships
* Advanced proficiency in SQL
* Professional experience using Snowflake for data transformation and modeling
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Comfortable working in a self-directed environment

Preferred:
* Experience with DBT (or strong SQL capability with willingness to learn)
* Exposure to Tableau or other business intelligence tools

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
