Job Description
Responsible for administration, maintenance, and support of Siemens Teamcenter PLM infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of the system.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Teamcenter environments (DEV/TEST/PROD).
Administer Teamcenter servers, web tiers, FMS, Active Workspace, and integrations.
Perform user management, access control, roles, privileges, and license management.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability.
Manage patching, backups, restores, and disaster recovery activities.
Coordinate with application teams, DBAs, and infra teams for issue resolution.
Maintain system documentation and follow ITIL/change management processes.
Technical Skills Required:
Strong experience in Siemens Teamcenter administration
OS knowledge: Linux/Unix & Windows
Database: Oracle / SQL Server
Middleware: Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic
Scripting: Shell / PowerShell (basic to intermediate)
Understanding of PLM architecture & FMS
Good to Have:
Teamcenter upgrades & migration experience
Active Workspace configuration knowledge
Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
ITIL certification
