Software Test Analyst

Role Overview
The client is seeking a senior Software Test Analyst to serve as a Lead Testing Analyst, providing oversight and coordination of testing activities for large, enterprise public-sector applications. This hybrid role focuses on test leadership, quality assurance strategy, Agile delivery support, and mentoring testing teams across complex systems.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate QA, functional, system integration, and user acceptance testing activities
Review requirements and design artifacts to ensure testability and adherence to standards
Plan, estimate, and manage testing activities for projects and maintenance efforts
Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test logs, and defect logs
Manage defects through resolution and prioritize based on business impact
Provide regular testing status, metrics, and quality reports to stakeholders and leadership
Mentor and guide test analysts on testing best practices and quality standards
Support Agile ceremonies including daily standups and retrospectives
Execute and oversee automated testing, including script creation and maintenance
Ensure testing deliverables are completed on schedule and transitioned to maintenance
