Alarm Service Technician to support commercial service projects across the
Tulsa metro, Northwest Arkansas, and NE Oklahoma regions. This role focuses on servicing, troubleshooting, and inspecting
commercial fire alarm and security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems.
Technicians will work directly with customers on-site, diagnose system issues, and complete service tickets efficiently. Most work is local, with limited regional travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Service, troubleshoot, and inspect commercial fire alarm and security systems
- Perform diagnostics on fire alarm panels, CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems
- Complete preventive maintenance and system inspections
- Communicate professionally with customers while on-site
- Accurately document service activities and findings
- Manage an average of 1-3 service tickets per day, depending on scope
Required Qualifications- Active Commercial Oklahoma Alarm License
- Experience with commercial fire alarm systems
- Experience servicing commercial security systems (access control & CCTV)
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently in customer-facing environments
- Comfortable using a personal vehicle during the contract period
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills- Low-voltage cabling (CAT5 / CAT6)
- General wiring experience
- IP networking fundamentals
- Prior experience with alarm system installation
Work Environment- Commercial sites including hospitals, schools, office buildings, and clinics
- Primarily local service work with occasional regional travel
- Contract-to-hire role with opportunity for full-time conversion
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
