About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior C++ Trading Software Developer to build and enhance high-performance trading platforms and real-time financial systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern C++, low-latency application development, and trading technologies within capital markets or financial services environments.

This role involves designing scalable trading systems, optimizing execution performance, and collaborating with traders, quantitative analysts, and engineering teams to deliver reliable and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance trading applications using C++.
• Build low-latency, real-time systems for market data processing and trade execution.
• Optimize application performance, memory management, and concurrency handling.
• Develop and support exchange connectivity, FIX integrations, and order management systems.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, and stakeholders to implement trading strategies and platform enhancements.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure platform stability and reliability.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
• Improve deployment automation, monitoring, and operational processes.
• Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices and coding standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional C++ software development experience.
• Strong expertise in modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20).
• Experience developing low-latency or high-frequency trading systems.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Multithreading and concurrency
  • Data structures and algorithms
  • Memory management
  • Network programming
  • Linux/Unix systems
• Experience with FIX protocol, market data feeds, and exchange connectivity.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in electronic trading, capital markets, or fintech environments.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Experience with cloud platforms and container technologies.
• Understanding of financial instruments and trading workflows.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and high-availability architectures.
