Our client, a leading Government Systems Integrator, is in need of a Test Engineer for an initial 12 month contract. This is a hybrid schedule consisting of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote with candidates being located in either Gaithersburg, MD, Egg Township, NJ or Eagan, MN. The Test Engineer will be supporting the design and development of comprehensive test strategies and test plans for complex software systems and systems integrations. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test frameworks, continuous testing of pipelines integrated with the CI / CD process, test case design using risk-based testing approaches ensuring coverage of functional, non-functional and security requirements, integration, system and performance testing and security testing across multiple system components.
Required Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in the software testing and / or quality assurance space with a bachelor's degree.
- ISTQB Advanced Level, CSQA or equivalent certification as well as some level of security testing certification, i.e. GWAPT.
- Experience with test automation architecture and frameworks to include, Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework and / or Playwright.
- Experience with performance testing tools to include JMeter, Gatling and / or LoadRunner.
- Experience with API testing tools to include, Postman, REST Assured and / or SoapUI.
- Knowledge of testing fundamentals to include, OWASP testing guide, DAST / SAST tool usage, etc.

The expected hourly rate range for this role is $36 - 52/ hr.
