As a Database Engineer in Test, you will play a key role in designing and executing advanced data quality assurance solutions across complex systems, driving improvements in data integrity, testing automation, and technical leadership.

Database Engineer in Test Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive data validation and quality assurance strategies for data pipelines, ETL processes, and backend systems.
• Leverage modern tools, programming languages, data frameworks, and approved databases.
• Automate validation procedures using CI/CD pipelines, scheduled jobs, or event triggers.
• Lead and mentor junior data engineers; set best practices and foster team knowledge sharing.
• Design and implement testing solutions for data visualizations on popular BI platforms.
• Participate in high-complexity projects and ensure compliance with security and quality standards.

Database Engineer in Test Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience testing ETL and data warehouse solutions using a software development approach.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation development.
• Expertise in scripting languages, modern IDEs, and source control systems.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, data lakes, and data warehouse architectures.
• Excellent communication, analytical, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects with minimal oversight.
• Product-specific certifications (preferred).
