Job Description Conversion Specialist - Custody

The candidate will be responsible for processing client conversion fund accounting activity including incoming and outgoing conversions, Sub-custodian Migrations, transition management (Asset Restructuring), mergers, Omnibus Conversions, Cusip Swings, interfund transfers and in-kind transfers.

Specifications:

At least 4 to 5 years of Global trade settlement experience such as DTC, Euro clear, Crest, CED etc.

Experience on MCH and other State street application preferable

In-depth understanding of SSI (Standard settlement instructions) such as BIC code, sub BIC, agent account number etc.,

Knowledge of swift messages and trade settlement cycle.

Trade processing and settlement with failed trade monitoring hands on experience.

In depth knowledge of different financial assets such as equity, fixed income, derivatives, FX etc.

Flexible with shift depend on project requirement. (APAC, EMEA, NA)

Query investigation and resolution.

Someone with Sr. analyst/SME level experience with excellent verbal and written communication skill.

Specific Qualifications / Skills:

Working knowledge of general industry topics; understanding the roles of internal departments and functions; good written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team environment; strong organizational skills, detail and deadline oriented; ability to work under pressure to handle multiple projects; proficient in word and excel.

2+ years of financial services experience, preferably with custody exposure, and knowledge of financial market activities and transactions. Past client service experience would be advantageous.
