Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
· Experience as a Database Developer or similar role.
· Strong hands-on expertise with PostgreSQL, including SQL, PL/pgSQL, stored procedures, triggers, indexing, and query optimization.
· Demonstrated experience working with large-scale, high-volume enterprise applications and mission critical data environments.
· Strong understanding of relational database design, normalization, and data modeling principles.
· Proficiency in performance tuning, execution plan analysis, and troubleshooting complex SQL behaviors.
· Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and collaborating on multi-disciplinary project delivery.
· Foster effective collaboration and communication within the project team, including developers, testers, and stakeholders. Actively participate in meetings, discussions, and code reviews to ensure alignment and efficient workflow.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and multiple concurrent projects.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Experience with ETL pipelines, data integration tools, and batch processing frameworks.
· Familiarity with CI/CD processes and database deployment automation.
· Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) and managed PostgreSQL services.
· Experience supporting government or public sector systems.
