We''re hiring a Medicaid Systems Analyst to join our team in Columbia, SC. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience with:
- Medicaid or healthcare experience, specifically with Medicaid claims and provider operations concepts
- Operating healthcare mainframe systems for payers as a technical analyst or related duties
- EDI transactions, including managing companion guides
- Understanding of MMIS capabilities and intricacies
- Experience working with a Medicaid eligibility and/or enrollment information system in an operations capacity
- Proficient in COBOL programming language
- Self-motivated and able to learn on the job with little training/guidance
- Able to review job schedules and logs to troubleshoot issues
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment
- Superb written and oral communications skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members, technical team, key stakeholders, and vendors
Preferred Skills:
- Subject matter expertise as it relates to MMIS operations
- Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SAS, Excel, data visualization tools, and statistical analysis software
- Experience providing status reports and other technical or operational reports in a clear and concise manner
Key Responsibilities:
- Support operations for the legacy MMIS system
- Provide technical analysis and support for healthcare mainframe systems for payers
- Manage EDI transactions, including companion guides
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient system operations
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor''s degree in a technical, business, or healthcare field
The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $120,000.
