Position: Business Analyst - Project Lead
Location: Cayce, SC 29033
Client: State of South Carolina
Duration: 12+ Months
Job Description: Seeking a seasoned Business Analyst - Project Lead to drive IT initiatives from discovery through delivery. You'll lead requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, and solution design, while coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality outcomes. Strong analytical mindset and hands-on BA/PM skills are essential to translate business needs into actionable IT solutions.
5 Key Technical Skills:
- Requirements elicitation, documentation (BRD/FRD), and traceability
- Stakeholder management and facilitation across multiple groups
- Process mapping, business process reengineering, and workflow optimization
- Data analysis and reporting; foundational SQL/data querying capability
- Project leadership: planning, scope management, risk/issue tracking, and coordination with IT teams (Agile/Waterfall)
Notes:
- 12+ month engagement with potential extension
- Hybrid work arrangement: 4 days remote, 1 day onsite per week
- Local candidates preferred; relocation to SC may be required at candidate's expense
