Description:
Full time on-site Syracuse, Liverpool, NY
As a Network Security Engineer, you'll provide technical support for hardware and applications. You'll be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, operating systems, software, and related infrastructure. You'll ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational standards and security requirements.
Key technical requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching.
- Firewall configuration and administration experience is mandatory, with Check Point strongly preferred.
- CCNP certification is preferred.
- F5 load balancer experience is an added advantage.
- Experience with enterprise change control and critical infrastructure environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to rack, stack, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including creating network diagrams in Visio.
