Summary

Job Title:- QA Automation Engineer - Playwright
Locations:- Chicago, IL (Onsite in Hybrid)

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with min 10+ years of experience and strong expertise in Playwright, TypeScript, and JavaScript to design, develop, and maintain scalable end-to-end automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have experience building Playwright frameworks from scratch, integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines, and driving automation best practices while mentoring team members.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Playwright automation frameworks for end-to-end (E2E) testing.
Develop automated test scripts using TypeScript and JavaScript, with strong knowledge of asynchronous programming.
Implement parallel test execution, optimize test performance, and reduce test flakiness.
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
Work with Docker, containerized testing environments, cloud-based deployment pipelines, API testing, database validation, and network interception.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
Participate in code reviews, define automation standards, validate production releases, and mentor junior QA engineers.
