Job Description

We are supporting a Procure-to-Pay (P2P) implementation of Zip for a client running Lawson (Infor) as their backend ERP. The client also operates a custom middleware platform built on IBM AS400 (IBM i).

We are seeking two technical integration developers (1 Onshore Lead + 1 Offshore Developer) to support integration development between Lawson and the AS400-based middleware across master and transactional P2P data objects.

The P2P vendor will manage integrations between Zip and the middleware. This role focuses specifically on Lawson Middleware integration design, development, and support.

Role Responsibilities

• Design and develop integrations between Lawson ERP and AS400 middleware
• Develop and support inbound/outbound interfaces for P2P master and transactional data
• Perform data mapping, transformation, and validation logic
• Support API-based and/or file-based (CSV, XML, JSON) integrations
• Implement error handling, logging, and reconciliation processes
• Collaborate with P2P vendor technical team for end-to-end data flow validation
• Participate in integration testing (SIT, UAT, Performance)
• Support deployment and production stabilization
• Document integration design and technical specifications

Required Skills & Experience

Core Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Lawson (Infor S3 or CloudSuite) technical development
• Experience building integrations involving Lawson
• Hands-on experience with IBM AS400 / IBM i
• RPG, COBOL, or AS400-based development experience
• Experience integrating legacy middleware systems
• REST and/or SOAP API integration experience
• File-based integration experience (CSV, XML, flat files)
• Strong SQL and data transformation skills
• Understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes (AP, Purchasing, Vendor lifecycle)

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating P2P systems (Zip, Coupa, Ariba, etc.)
• Infor ION experience
• IBM MQ or messaging framework experience
• Experience working in blended onshore/offshore delivery models
• Exposure to SOX-controlled environments

• 8+ years ERP integration experience
• Deep Lawson technical expertise
• Strong architecture and design skills
• Ability to interface directly with client technical leadership
• Experience leading offshore developers

• 4 7 years integration development experience
• Strong AS400 / middleware development background
• Experience supporting ERP integrations
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
