Job Title Direct Express Operations Control Support Specialist
What does a successful Direct Express Operations Control Support Specialist do at Fiserv? You will perform control identification, monitoring, and testing to ensure that processes such as card production, fulfillment, call center performance, dispute resolution, coding/SDLC, fraud monitoring, SLA management, and compliance adherence run seamlessly in a steady-state environment. The role involves designing controls in partnership with business owners and subsequent monitoring of control operating effectiveness. It also includes helping business owners to identify key performance indicators and key risk indicators, as well as collaborating with internal and external teams to resolve problems quickly and sufficiently remediate deficiencies.
What you'll do: - Operate in a first line controls team, performing identification, monitoring, and testing of key controls across assigned process areas. Examples may include:
- Working with the Call Center to make sure that they are tracking call center service levels and escalate issues impacting customer experience.
- Coordinating with Regulatory Compliance to work with business owners to identify relevant controls and helping business owners to design and implement processes accordingly
- Reviewing code to confirm that the code reflects intended product requirements/functionality
- Collaborate with internal and external partners as necessary to monitor, manage, and ensure compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs), driving operational excellence and timely issue resolution
- Identify issues for remediation and assist business owners in performing root cause analyses and determination of what constitutes sufficient issue remediation to address assessment owner requirements.
Experience you will need to have: - Bachelor's degree in business, Operations, IT, or related field.
- Risk, controls, regulatory assessment, internal audit, or commensurate experience surrounding risk and control frameworks and audit/assessment methodology
- Familiarity with IT controls
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (Reg E, AML) preferred.
- Basic understanding of ACH file transmissions and settlement flows.
- Exposure to fraud detection or dispute resolution workflows.
How you'll work: This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.

Salary Range $78,000.00 - $124,800.00
These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
