Superintendent – Data Center Construction
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $180K-$240K, depending on data center experience
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Additional Compensation: Relocation assistance and retention bonuses
Innovar Group is seeking experienced Construction Superintendents to oversee field operations for hyperscale data center builds in Oklahoma City.
This position will manage day-to-day construction activities, coordinate subcontractors and trades, maintain project schedules, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with plans and specifications.
Key Responsibilities

Direct daily field operations across assigned areas or construction scopes.

Coordinate subcontractors, field crews, vendors, inspections, and material deliveries.

Develop and maintain short-term and look-ahead construction schedules.

Monitor field productivity and address schedule, quality, safety, or coordination concerns.

Review plans, specifications, RFIs, and submittals before work is installed.

Conduct daily coordination meetings, safety discussions, and site walks.

Enforce project safety standards and support a zero-incident work environment.

Verify completed work meets quality standards and contract requirements.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, design teams, and owner representatives.

Support equipment installation, startup, commissioning, punch-list completion, and turnover.

Document field progress, manpower, site conditions, and corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
-
Previous construction experience on a large-scale hyperscale data center campus for a Magnificent 7 technology company is required.

7+ years of field construction experience.

Previous experience serving as a Superintendent, General Superintendent, Area Superintendent, or senior field leader.

Direct field leadership experience on a major hyperscale data center build.

Strong understanding of construction sequencing, trade coordination, site logistics, scheduling, safety, and quality control.

Experience overseeing complex mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, architectural, or general construction activities.

Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction schedules.

Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading major scopes from mobilization through commissioning and turnover.

OSHA 30 certification.

Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar construction platforms.
