Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal consultant will be a senior Oracle Procurement functional lead with deep Oracle EBS Sourcing expertise, strong implementation leadership experience, and the ability to drive the project from requirements through production support while partnering closely with business stakeholders.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Sourcing Lead to support a large Oracle Procurement/Sourcing initiative within an Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environment. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience leading multiple Oracle Sourcing implementations specifically within the Oracle Procurement suite, with strong functional expertise rather than broader Supply Chain Management (SCM) specialization.
This role will lead the full implementation lifecycle including requirements gathering, business process documentation, configuration, testing, production deployment, post-production support, and knowledge transfer activities.
Candidates with primarily Oracle Cloud Procurement backgrounds will not be a fit unless they also possess strong recent Oracle EBS Sourcing implementation experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Oracle EBS Sourcing implementation activities within the Procurement module
- Conduct business requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders
- Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and functional design documentation
- Configure Oracle EBS Sourcing module based on business requirements
- Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders
- Lead and coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Support migration and deployment activities for production go-live
- Provide post-production stabilization and support
- Conduct knowledge transfer (KT) sessions for internal IT teams and business users
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices
- Work closely with cross-functional Oracle Procurement teams as needed
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of Oracle EBS functional experience with strong focus on Oracle Procurement/Sourcing
- Proven experience leading multiple Oracle Sourcing implementations
- Strong expertise in Oracle EBS Procurement Suite modules, specifically:
- Oracle Sourcing
- Oracle Purchasing
- Supplier-related procurement processes
- Experience conducting requirements gathering and BRD development
- Hands-on Oracle EBS Sourcing configuration experience
- Experience leading SIT, UAT, production cutover, and hypercare support
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in a lead functional consultant capacity
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience serving as Oracle Sourcing Lead on enterprise implementations
- Exposure to Oracle Identity Services Suite (OISS) is a plus
- Experience supporting procurement transformation initiatives
- Previous consulting/client services experience preferred
