Core Responsibilities

Product Ownership: Serve as the primary Product Owner for MES Core components, managing the product lifecycle in an Agile environment.
Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and refine the product backlog; document epics and stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Agile Leadership: Slice capabilities into incremental deliverables (features/stories) and lead development teams through refinement and sizing.
Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the bridge between the MES Core technical team and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with agency goals.
Production Support: Assist teams with troubleshooting and resolving incidents within the modernized modular environment.

Technical & Experience Requirements

Medicaid Expertise: 5+ years of experience working directly with State Medicaid Systems.
Project Leadership: 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager or in a similar leadership capacity.
Systems Integration: 2+ years of experience with data exchange, systems integration, and data transformations.
Technical Standards: 5+ years of familiarity with X12 Electronic Data Interfaces (EDI) and APIs.
Large-Scale IT: At least 1 year of experience on large-scale, complex IT projects.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Agile Mastery: 3+ years of experience specifically as an Agile Product Owner.
Certification: PMP or equivalent Project Management certification is highly preferred.
