Senior Process Integration Engineer

Job Description:

In this critical role you will be responsible for developing and sustaining process and device technology for MACOM's internal semiconductor fab. Responsibilities include development of new process technologies, continuous improvement of existing processes, and sustaining existing device process technologies all in close partnership with Business Unit device design teams and the Fab Process Engineering team. Expertise in silicon and compound semiconductor processing, device physics, and data analysis are essential to success in this role.

The right candidate will:
  • Have a broad knowledge of compound semiconductor processing, including direct experience in at least two process areas (photolithography, plasma etching, etc.).
  • Possess a strong knowledge of device physics and device modeling tools.
  • Be well versed in data extraction and data analysis tools.
  • Be able to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced, high intensity environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.
  • Remain industry informed, familiar with the latest technologies and industry trends.
  • Enjoy finding solutions to difficult problems.

Qualifications:
  • Candidate will have a MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Physics, or similar with a minimum of 3 years of semiconductor fab experience.

RSU Eligible

This position is eligible to receive restricted stock unit (RSU) awards and cash bonuses, solely at MACOM's discretion, subject to individual and company performance.

Salary Range

The Salary Range for this position is $98,000- $142,000. Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates' experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
