Job Title: Mainframe Developer – COBOL/CICS, Systematics RM & GN

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong technical expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, Systematics RM, and Systematics GN. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting mainframe applications, including online and batch processes. The role requires knowledge of REST APIs and experience working with Systematics GN components.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, enhance, and test COBOL/CICS programs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in mainframe online and batch processing environments.
• Work with DB2 databases, JCL jobs, and VSAM files.
• Analyze, maintain, and troubleshoot Systematics RM applications.
• Work on Systematics GN components, including SDR, TBR, ICR, and TCR.
• Identify root causes of production issues and implement appropriate fixes.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure application quality.
• Support application maintenance, defect resolution, and system enhancements.
• Apply basic REST API knowledge to support application integration and related requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and other technical stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, technical documentation, and established development processes.
