Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations Senior Business Analyst (Finance and SCM) JOB DECRIPTION This industry leader is seeking a full-time Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance and SCM Business Analyst to implement and support financial and supply chain processes within a highly integrated ERP Environment (Dynamics 365 F &O). This role is ideal for candidates with strong ERP functional experience and a solid understanding of finance processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Supply Chain modules. The analyst will collaborate with Finance and Supply Chain teams, IT stakeholders, and implementation on partners to support ERP configuration on, financial process optimization on, and system integrations within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Platform. The role involves taking part in and leading implementation on activities for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations across the USA and other international regions. The position also ensures alignment with customer existing business processes, system configurations, and operational standards within the D365 F&O environment. Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3 5 years of experience working in D365 Finance and Operation Applications.
Strong desire to learn and grow in a complex enterprise environment
Good communication on skills and willingness to ask questions
Prior experience with Microsoft D365 F&O and AX 2009 and other ERP systems.
Experience participating in at least one full lifecycle implementations on, upgrade projects of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
Basic knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or data analysis tools.
Experience supporting finance teams in ERP environments.
Exposure to financial month end close and reconciliations.
Exposure to AI-powered Copilot capabilities and experience assisting in the creation on or configuration on of custom Copilot agents within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations would be added advantage. What Success Looks Like First 3 6 Months
Develop a strong understanding of the existing business processes, system configurations, and Integrations between various enterprise systems and the customer Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environment.
Conduct business requirement gathering and contribute to the solutions on architecture design for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operation ERP platforms, working closely with implementation on partners to ensure successful configuration, integra on, and deployment.
Assist in day-to-day implementation, configuration, and migration activities within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environment under the guidance of senior functional consultants and process leads.
Build familiarity with D365 Finance configuration, financial integrations, and data flow between finance modules and other enterprise systems.
Support users with basic functional inquiries and assist in document business processes and system configurations. 6 12 Months
Gain deeper understanding of financial data flows, including subledger to general ledger posting and Reconciliation on processes.
Contribute to ERP implementation on activities such as configure on validate on, testing support, and integra on issue analysis.
Support data migration on validation on, system enhancements, and change requests within the D365 environment.
Assist in user training, documenta on, and process improvements to improve system adopt on and operational efficiency. Key Attributes We Value

Provide functional support for D365 Finance modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash & Bank Management, Fixed Assets and SCM.
Support financial and inventory transaction processing, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P) & Plan-to-Make (P2M) business processes within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environment.
Support the end-to-end finance lifecycle, including invoicing, receivables, payables, and financial reporting. Implementation & Operational Support
Participate in D365 Finance implementation and upgrade projects, including system configurations, testing, and deployment activities.
Assist with data migration on validation, master data setup, and configuration on of financial structures such as Chart of Accounts and pos ng profiles.
Support day-to-day system inquiries and issue resolutions from finance and business users. Business Collaboration
Work closely with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to understand business requirements and reported issues.
Translate business needs into functional system solutions and configuration on improvements.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
