Role Overview
An opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and innovative Security Architect to lead Security Architecture reviews specific to SaaS platforms. This senior-level role requires a professional with deep knowledge of cloud security and the ability to work effectively with client, partner, and IT management and staff. The candidate will represent the team in technical discussions and drive deliverables with minimal guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead security architecture reviews for SaaS platforms within an enterprise environment.
- Establish security patterns related to cloud and hybrid architecture and assist tech teams with implementation.
- Manage third-party cybersecurity due diligence and risk management processes.
- Work with identity management systems, including Authentication, SSO, RBAC, and privilege management.
- Ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulations such as NIST, GDPR, and SOC reports.
- Address data security concepts including encryption, retention, and classification.
- Handle application security, including OWASP, API security, and SSDLC.
- Oversee security and audit logs, SIEM integration, alerting, and incident response plans.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of seven years of experience in an Information Security role is required. This must include three years of experience with cloud technologies. Hands-on experience with the management of SaaS platforms within an enterprise environment is necessary. Experience working with identity management systems including Authentication, SSO, RBAC, privilege management, and Microsoft Entra is also required.
Technical Skills: The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of various cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and SSDLC. Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, hybrid, and multi-cloud systems is required. A strong understanding of network architecture concepts, firewall, IPS/IDS, proxy servers, WAF, App Proxy, APIM, and zero-trust architecture is necessary. Knowledge of AI, specifically Microsoft Co-pilot, is also a requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- Experience in the financial industry.
- CISSP, CSSP, CCNP/CCIE Security, or a Cloud security certification.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $80.00/hr to $90.00/hr. Please note that the exact compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to skill level, experience, and geographic location.
