Job: Application Technical Specialist/DCR Programmer – Unix Administrator / DCR or COBOL Programmer
Location: Trenton, New Jersey (Hybrid) Local Only
Must have experience supporting legacy DCR applications on SCO Unix, Unix admin experience, DCR or Cobol programming

Our client is looking for an experienced Application Technical Specialist with strong SCO Unix/UnixWare administration, DCR or COBOL programming, Unix Shell Scripting, and legacy application production support experience.
Required Qualifications
6+ years of overall application development experience
4+ years of DCR programming experience
4+ years of SCO UnixWare administration experience
4+ years of Unix Shell Scripting experience
4+ years of production support for legacy business applications
Hands-on experience supporting legacy DCR applications on SCO Unix
Experience with flat-file processing and batch job management
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
Preferred
2+ years of experience with legacy procedural programming languages such as COBOL, RPG, or C
Experience debugging and reverse engineering legacy applications with limited documentation
Advanced skills in technologies such as SharePoint, SAP, Curam, ServiceNow, HL7, or PEGA
Experience supporting large-scale government or enterprise-level business applications
