Role: Solution Architect – SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Location:  Chicago (Hybrid / regular Onsite required – up to every other week)

Engagement: Contract (3 days/week on average with slightly lower utilization in the beginning, initial 6+ months contract w/ strong extension – long roadmap planned)

Start: ASAP

Rate:                     70-85hr

Context

We are supporting a large international energy provider in redesigning and stabilizing their SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) landscape.

SAC is already implemented but lacks proper business architecture, end-to-end value flow alignment, and structured financial modeling. 

The immediate goal is to deliver an MVP within ~2 months focused on Construction CapEx transparency and controlling steering logic, followed by phased expansion.

This is a high-visibility project with executive sponsorship (US + Germany).

What We Need

A senior-level Solution Architect (not a pure configurator) who can:

• Bridge business and technical implementation
• Translate Finance/Controlling requirements into SAC architecture
• Design scalable SAC planning and reporting models
• Oversee implementation quality
• Lead testing with stakeholders
• Guide technical implementers
• Operate confidently onsite with client teams

Required Profile

• 7+ years SAP experience
• 3+ years strong SAP Analytics Cloud (Planning + Modeling)
• Deep understanding of FI/CO and Project Controlling
• Experience designing end-to-end data and value flows
• Proven track record in transformation or MVP-style delivery
• Strong client-facing communication skills
• English fluent (German is a plus, not required)
