Job Title: Machine Learning Data Engineer
Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Machine Learning Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that support machine learning workflows. In this role, you will work closely with machine learning and product teams to ensure high-quality, reliable, and well-structured data is available for analytics, experimentation, and model training.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable, and streamable data pipelines using industry-standard tools and frameworks
• Develop and manage data ingestion processes from multiple internal and external data sources
• Implement parallel data pre-processing to clean, transform, de-duplicate, normalize, and combine datasets
• Curate, augment, and enrich datasets to improve data quality and usability for machine learning applications
• Collaborate with synthetic data teams to integrate generated data into existing pipelines
• Partner closely with machine learning engineers, scientists, and product teams to understand and meet data requirements
• Monitor data pipelines for performance, reliability, and errors; troubleshoot and optimize as needed
• Maintain clear technical documentation for data pipelines, configurations, and operational procedures
• Stay up to date with evolving data engineering and machine learning best practices

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Data Engineer
• Strong software engineering skills with proficiency in Python
• Experience with data processing tools and formats such as Apache Parquet, WebDataset, TorchData, Pandas, TFRecord, Protobuf, and shell scripting
• Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts and cloud-based storage systems (e.g., object storage services)
• Proficiency in SQL
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Master s degree in data science, Computer Science, or a related field

• Experience with large-scale data curation and enrichment for text, image, or video datasets
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts, PyTorch, and NLP or computer vision workflows
• Experience working with distributed or high-performance data processing systems
