Vaco is actively seeking an experienced Business & Data Insights Analyst for a direct-hire role focused on providing business insights as well as supporting systems modernization and enterprise change management initiatives across a global enterprise.

Position Summary

The Business Analyst / Data Insights Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with various business stakeholders, data teams, and technical resources to present strategic operational insights supported by thorough process evaluation, system assessments, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational needs, translate them into technical specifications, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver desired actionable insights and results.
Analyze data from various sources, creating clear, actionable reports that support business strategy.
Enable communications between business and technical teams through various mediums, ensuring alignment on both business and technical initiatives.
Facilitate business process analysis, documenting current workflows and proposing improvements.
Collaborate with data teams, using Python and SQL to validate and analyze data that informs business decisions.
Assist in defining test conditions and coordinating with data teams to ensure accurate data results.
Support project management activities, tracking progress across multiple initiatives and ensuring timely delivery.
Review, modify, and recommend database structures and application parameters as warranted.
Create and present recuring and ad hoc reports and dashboards, offering clear stakeholder insights.

Qualifications:

Strong business acumen, with the ability to interpret data in a broader context and provide strategic insights.
Proficiency with Python and the ability to partner with engineering teams as needed.
Previous experience in finance, banking, wealth management, or similar is highly desirable.
Proven success operating within enterprise cloud platforms and systems is required.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Additional Details

Employment Type: Direct-Hire with Client
Primary Schedule: Monday – Friday / 8a – 5p
Location: Downtown St. Louis
Target Total Compensation: $90k – 110k
Engagement Status: Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based sponsorship, now or in the future, including: H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT, or any other employment-based visa programs.
