Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Network Engineer / Network Architect with 8+ years of enterprise networking experience to support large-scale SD-Access fabric and spine/leaf campus network deployments.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on implementation experience and be able to lead network deployment planning, configuration, migration, troubleshooting, and post-migration support. Candidates must be able to demonstrate real-world production experience, not just theoretical knowledge or certifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end deployment planning for SD-Access fabric and spine/leaf campus modernization.
- Translate High-Level Designs (HLD) into detailed Low-Level Designs (LLD), implementation plans, and configuration standards.
- Develop and execute IPv4-to-IPv6 migration strategies, including dual-stack and phased migration approaches.
- Design scalable deployment models for large enterprise environments.
- Develop configuration templates for routing, segmentation, QoS, policy enforcement, and SD-Access.
- Create detailed MOPs, deployment runbooks, rollback plans, and validation checklists.
- Provide real-time support during network migrations, cutovers, and post-migration stabilization.
- Troubleshoot issues involving IPv6, VXLAN, routing, segmentation, RADIUS, wired/wireless authentication, and service restoration.
- Perform root-cause analysis and communicate troubleshooting steps and resolutions clearly.
- Work closely with engineering, operations, project management, vendors, and customer stakeholders.
- Review deployment risks, change requests, rollback readiness, and technical implementation plans.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of enterprise networking experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with SD-Access, software-defined campus, or large-scale spine/leaf deployments.
- Strong IPv6 implementation and migration experience.
- Hands-on experience with:
- BGP
- OSPF
- VXLAN / EVPN-VXLAN
- VRFs / VLANs
- Route redistribution and route control
- Network segmentation
- Policy enforcement
- RADIUS
- Wired/Wireless authentication
- Strong troubleshooting and production deployment experience.
- Experience creating MOPs, implementation plans, rollback procedures, validation checklists, and operational documentation.
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
