Program manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Consultant – Program Management with strong expertise in managing large-scale, complex programs and Large Deal Program Management initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving program execution, managing cross-functional teams, coordinating stakeholders, tracking financial and operational performance, and ensuring successful delivery of strategic client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program management for large, complex, and strategic client engagements.
• Manage the complete program lifecycle from deal transition and initiation through execution, delivery, and closure.
• Drive Large Deal Program Management processes, governance, milestones, and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with sales, solution architects, delivery teams, finance, legal, procurement, and business stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed program plans, project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource plans.
• Establish program governance frameworks, reporting mechanisms, and performance metrics.
• Monitor scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Lead regular program reviews and provide executive-level status updates and dashboards.
• Identify program risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Manage changes to scope, timelines, resources, and commercial commitments.
• Ensure alignment between contractual commitments, client expectations, and delivery capabilities.
• Support deal transition, mobilization, resource planning, and operational readiness.
• Track financial performance including revenue, cost, margins, forecasts, and budget variance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across program management and delivery processes.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
• Manage escalations and communicate program health, risks, and recovery plans to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with organizational PMO, governance, quality, and reporting standards.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, PMO, or Consulting.
• Strong experience managing large-scale or strategic programs.
• Hands-on experience with Large Deal Management / Large Deal Program Management processes.
• Strong understanding of program governance, delivery management, financial management, and risk management.
• Experience managing multiple projects/workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Strong experience in program reporting, dashboards, KPIs, RAID logs, and governance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in IT services, consulting, digital transformation, or technology programs.
• Experience with large enterprise clients and complex contracts.
• Knowledge of commercial and financial aspects of large deals.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, Power BI, or similar PMO tools.
• PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or other program/project management certification is a plus.
• Experience with RFP/RFI, solutioning, transition, and deal-to-delivery processes is preferred.
