Qualifications and Responsibilities for zOS System Programmer:

• Install, upgrade, and customize IBM z/OS and subsystems (JES2/JES3, RACF).

• Perform system tuning, capacity planning, and performance monitoring.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to minimize downtime.

• Implement security policies and ensure compliance with standards.

• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams for seamless integration.

• 5+ years of experience in z/OS systems programming.

• Strong knowledge of SMP/E, JCL, REXX, and system internals.

• Experience with RACF, JES2/JES3, RMF, and SMF.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
