Role Summary

Data Specialist to support assessors and analysts by collecting and structuring data that represents risk and enabling informed decisions on what risk can be transferred to insurers The goal is to digitize and standardize risk data currently scattered across multiple unstructured sources and make it easily accessible and usable across the organization

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and consolidate risk related data from unstructured sources into structured formats aligned to customers data dictionary and reference data
• Build digital forms and workflows to capture data consistently
• Populate and update central databases data lakes eg Databricks AWS Informatica MIDAS
• Ensure data can flow effectively upstream and downstream across teams and systems
• Drive data maturity within the team by improving processes and ensuring data is usable for decision making

• We are looking for a Reference Data Specialist to join our Data Services team supporting largescale data and analytics initiatives for a leading global organization
• This is an opportunity to be part of a high impact transformation program enhancing enterprise wide data quality governance and standardization

What Youll Do

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate their data use cases into clear business and technical requirements
• Analyse enterprise data ecosystems identify current data capabilities and align them with strategic outcomes
• Coordinate with data governance and data quality teams to ensure adherence to global standards quality rules and remediation processes
• Develop maintain and enhance data dictionaries enumerations reference data and classifications for consistency across systems
• Support data governance initiatives by root causing and remediating data quality issues
• Document data definitions rules and standards to enable consistent enterprise wide data usage

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in data design data governance or data management roles
• Strong knowledge of data governance principles reference data and data dictionaries
• Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with data modelling data design methodologies and platforms such as Databricks or similar

What Will Set You Apart

• Experience within financial services or large enterprise environments
• Working knowledge of Agile and SDLC methodologies
• Hands on experience with data profiling querying Oracle DB2 Databricks and visualization tools
• Ability to work independently while managing priorities in a fast paced setting
