Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Procurement Analyst to support strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation initiatives for our client''s IT organization. This is a hands-on role for a sourcing professional who can independently manage complex sourcing events, RFPs, and supplier relationships while ensuring compliance with corporate contracting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as IT sourcing subject matter expert across the full sourcing lifecycle: planning, due diligence, contract negotiation, and governance
- Conduct IT spend analysis and identify cost-saving/value-optimization opportunities
- Lead and coordinate complex sourcing events, RFPs, and RFIs
- Negotiate contract terms in partnership with Legal; ensure adherence to corporate contracting policies
- Develop and maintain supplier relationship management (SRM) processes
- Monitor supplier financial/market performance to flag viability risks; develop mitigation plans with IT Strategy
- Optimize supplier spend through contract consolidation, renewal, extension, or termination decisions
- Conduct regular contract reviews to validate pricing, usage, and SLA compliance
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned business units on all sourcing needs
- Maintain strict confidentiality of ITS budget, contract terms, and organizational planning data
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in IT sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or strategic sourcing
- Demonstrated experience leading RFP processes and contract negotiations
- Direct experience working with IT vendors and technology contracts
- Strong written communication skills — able to translate complex contract/policy details for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience supporting enterprise-level sourcing or procurement transformation initiatives strongly preferred
