Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior IT Asset Management (ITAM) Analyst to manage the organization's IT hardware, software, and technology assets throughout their lifecycle. The ideal candidate will ensure asset accuracy, software license compliance, cost optimization, and adherence to IT governance policies while collaborating with IT, procurement, finance, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
• Maintain accurate hardware and software asset inventories using IT Asset Management tools.
• Monitor software license usage and ensure compliance with vendor licensing agreements.
• Perform regular asset audits and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to optimize asset purchases and renewals.
• Track warranties, maintenance contracts, and software subscriptions.
• Generate asset management reports, dashboards, and compliance metrics.
• Support IT audits and ensure adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve asset utilization and reduce technology costs.
• Develop and maintain IT asset management processes, standards, and documentation.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members and stakeholders on ITAM best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM) principles and lifecycle management.
• Experience managing hardware, software, and software licensing.
• Familiarity with ITSM and ITAM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera, Snow Software, Ivanti, or ManageEngine).
• Understanding of software licensing models for major vendors such as Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, and VMware.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of ITIL framework and IT service management processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
