Comprehensive functional and technical work experience covering all phases of the systems development life cycle, performing complex analysis, consulting, supporting and managing projects, and providing recommendations
In-depth functional experience in planning, design, configuration, implementation, and production support of SAP Finance functionalities (G/L, A/P, A/R, Banking, Travel Mgt )
Functional knowledge of various modules beyond SAP Finance such as CO, TRM, SD, MM/SCM, HR, EAM,
Technical knowledge of various technologies beyond standard configuration & such as IDOC ,DMEE, Webservices , Proxy ,Debugging, Workflows, PDF Forms, Email Notifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with personnel at all levels across functional organizations both internal and external to understand and appropriately respond to business needs
Strong work ethic, detail-oriented, analytical, customer focused, and work well in a team or independently
Responsibilities
Provide end-to-end in-depth functional support for SAP Finance - Configuration (assess, estimate, analyze, design, review, test, implement) and maintenance (advise, troubleshoot, debug, resolve, improve, enhance)
Take on other roles as needed/assigned such as analyst, functional lead, project manager, subject matter expert, reviewer, advisor, consultant, or coordinator
Collaborate with client, IT, vendor to clarify requirements, research problems, answer queries, resolve issues, or implement break fixes, enhancements, or new projects
Work closely with various IT teams to ensure application and data availability for reporting and integration to SD, MM/SCM ,HCM, EAM, and BI
Interact with security, client, and approver for any SAP Finance role creation/update/mapping
Coordinate and manage vendor work (prepare, communicate, monitor, review, test, implement)
Review all deliverables (design specifications, ) in detail and challenge when necessary to ensure maintainability, quality, and adherence to requirements and standards
Collaborate and work across team boundaries to complete user requests (break fix, user help, simple request, consultation, estimation), urgent requests, high priority issues, and upgrades/updates
Perform user help and operation support analysis of issues, incident management, change management, release management, and SAP Finance related inquiries
Adhere to change management process create/update change request (CR), perform peer review, document test plan and results in HP ALM, request and gather reviews and approvals, prepare CR for CAB consideration before deadline, address and follow-up on change assessment findings, represent CR at CAB meetings, coordinate with release management to drive changes into production, perform or seek client production validation confirmation, complete CR within scheduled window
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned support dependent work (HRSP, patch update/upgrades, initiatives)
Perform routine duties client/team meetings, status reporting
Collaborate, review, coach, mentor, provide knowledge transfer to support personnel
Participate in developing enhancement/project estimates, schedule, and commitments
