Summary
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Systems Engineer (ECM/EDM) in Westlake, TX.
Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and updating the Filenet and Documentum platforms along with their associated infrastructure. Additionally, you will play a key role in the modernization initiative to migrate Documentum/Filenet to Nuxeo SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) environments.
Duties Include:
* Delivering document management platform support that consistently meets or exceeds service level commitments
* Applying systems administration methodologies, best practices, troubleshooting expertise, and staying current with industry trends
* Building close, trusted partnerships that enable the successful achievement of business objectives
* Identifying and analyzing issues and opportunities to enhance ECM solutions and services
* Championing and advancing engineering excellence in the support of enterprise systems
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* 8+ years of proven development experience of Enterprise Content such as FileNet, Documentum, Nuxeo, or other comparable modern content management platforms
* 5+ years of experience of administration and support of an ECM platform
* Ability to serve as a rotational team on-call resource in support of the organization's service model
* Ability to perform ECM upgrades and migrations
* Proven ability to install and configure Filenet/Documentum components and services efficiently and effectively
* You can fix and diagnose issues quickly and thoroughly
* Your ability to build and use shell scripts effectively in the automation of systems tasks
* Knowledge of cloud solutions for Enterprise Content Management
* Experience in working in an agile environment
* You are able and willing to work in a highly matrixed environment
* You have good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to perform Documentum upgrades and migrations with precision
* Skilled in installing and configuring Documentum and/or FileNet components and services efficiently and reliably
* Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities to resolve issues quickly and thoroughly
* Proficient in creating and utilizing SQL and shell scripts to automate system tasks effectively
* Willingness to participate in on-call support, change management, and maintenance activities to ensure seamless service delivery
* Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that values and leverages team diversity
* Comfortable working within a highly matrixed organizational structure
* Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and proactive approach to problem-solving
* RDMS knowledge is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
