Summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking experienced Full Stack Software Engineer (.NET / React / PostgreSQL) with a TS/SCI security clearance to support KITS and our government customer in College Park, MD.

The selected candidates will join an Agile development team responsible for modernizing mission-critical federal applications supporting records management, document review, FOIA workflows, case management, and electronic records processing. The team is developing a modern enterprise platform utilizing React, .NET and PostgreSQL stack.

This is an opportunity to work on a high-visibility federal modernization effort and help replace legacy systems with scalable, modern architecture.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using React and .NET
  • Develop RESTful APIs and backend services
  • Design and implement PostgreSQL database structures, queries, and data access layers
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Architects, Test Engineers, and DevSecOps personnel
  • Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and regression tests
  • Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment automation
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to software quality initiatives
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
  • Create technical documentation and support system demonstrations

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience with High School Diploma
  • 6+ years of software development experience
  • Strong experience developing applications using C# and .NET
  • Strong experience developing modern user interfaces using React
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle or other enterprise relational databases
  • Experience developing REST APIs and service-oriented architectures
  • Experience using Git and modern source control practices
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting federal government customers
  • Experience with Oracle Database
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and DevSecOps practices
  • Experience implementing role-based security models
  • Experience with enterprise workflow or case management systems
  • Experience with document management, records management, FOIA, or related business processes

Clearance Requirement:
  • Existing TS/SC clearance
