This is a fast-moving, dynamic environment where flexibility, teamwork and resourcefulness are key attributes needed for success.

As a key part of the Data Center Operations team, you will lead design and construction administration on large scale projects as Apple's Owners Representative for the Mechanical Engineer team as a domain expert.

BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field or equivalent job-related experience\n5+ years experience with large mechanical cooling systems \nAbility to travel

8+ years of experience in Mission Critical facilities design, construction and/or operations\n\n2+ years of operational experience as a mechanical engineer data center domain expert\n\nModel system performance, efficiency and reliability to prescribe improvement opportunities \n\nExperience with complex system upgrade projects or refreshes to operating facility and site \n\nAbility to Identify and resolve project issues, problems and deficiencies early and directly\n\nPragmatic and intuitive system design skills to reduce operational complexity and risks \n\nComplex Level 5 integrated systems test (IST) and commissioning experience\n\nBuilding Automation Systems (BAS) sequence of operations (SOO) development and tuning\n\nDeep dive on system and component failure, root-cause analysis (RCA's) and life expectancy
