  • We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright test automation, framework development, and scalability engineering. This role is hands-on and automation-focused, requiring deep technical proficiency and the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and DevOps teams.

You will design, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks, integrate SQL validations into automated test suites, and ensure seamless CI/CD pipeline integration. Qualifications & Requirements:
    • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Playwright-based automation frameworks.
    • Build sophisticated automated regression, integration, and functional tests.
    • Implement and optimize SQL hooks within automated tests to validate data workflows.
    • Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
    • Collaborate with software engineers to ensure testability and quality across the SDLC.
    • Develop test strategies, test plans, and high-quality test cases using BDD/TDD principles.
    • Identify gaps in current testing processes and propose long-term, scalable solutions.
    • Troubleshoot automation failures and improve reliability of automation systems.
    • Advocate for quality best practices across engineering teams.

    Required Qualifications
    • 3-7+ years of QA experience with strong focus on test automation.
    • Expert-level experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).
    • Hands-on experience building automation frameworks from scratch, with attention to scalability and maintainability.
    • Proficiency in SQL (writing queries, validating data, integrating SQL logic into tests).
    • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
    • Solid understanding of BDD/TDD, including writing executable specifications in business-friendly language.
    • Strong debugging skills and ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues.
    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with Cucumber, SpecFlow, or similar BDD frameworks.
    • Knowledge of service-level testing including API automation (REST/GraphQL).
    • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure).
    • Performance or load testing exposure is a plus.
    • Experience with version control using Git.
